Glynnsport is delighted to announce that Steve Glynn will race one of the
first ever race developed V8 Sagaris's for the 2007 race Season.
Built by Mallory Race Technology, who have proven the impressive
capability of the car throughout 2006 with their own race winning number
10 car, Steve will join them on the grid in his Sagaris as the number 11
car, using the number from his Class A winning Tuscan of 2006.
For this first season in the Sagaris, the car will run with the AJP8 race
engine, newly put together by APM Automotive and will continue with the T5
gear box and hydratrak differential.
As the Sagaris is a full GT race spec car, although built up from an
original Tuscan Challenge car chassis, it will be a very different drive
from the Tuscan. "This should be another very exciting year of learning
and development, both in terms of my skill as well as getting the best
possible performance from the new car" Steve commented.
"During the season, Tim Hood will be experimenting with a six litre V8
Chevy engine in his Sagaris, with a new diff to suit both the engine and
his sequential gear box. In theory, this combination should create an
extremely competitive and reliable car capable of endurance racing as well
as its proven sprint abilities. If it works as well as we all expect, then
we may well further develop our Sagaris down this same route in due
course."

As Steve's new Sagaris has been built independently of the existing Tuscan
Challenge car, his Class A winning Tuscan from the 2006 season will be
available for hire on an "arrive and drive" fully prepared race package.
We're happy to look at various options to suit, from individual race
meetings, to a selection of races or indeed the whole Season. Interested
parties should e mail us on glynnsport@aol.com for further information.
2007 will certainly be another fantastic year in the development of
Glynnsport and Steve's experience and ability. We can't wait to get out
there.
